Here's a fantastic summer language camp that's close to our heart - well it is called "Adventure" after all!
If you are into the outdoors and having fun, this is probably the place for you. Finish your morning German classes, then put what you've learnt into practice building a raft with your team to race on the lake, or heading off on a hike with your GPS. There's masses of things to do here including nights around the camp fire and even on some occasions, a night out camping.

This summer camp is based in the Bavarian mountains about 40km from Munich. You stay in a beautifully restored mountain chalet located next to a lake and with views to the mountains all around. The bedrooms are shared and well-equipped. Everything you need is there, including a large garden around the chalet. There's even a small climbing wall. And if all that is not enough, there are also excursions to Munich planned, so you'll get to see that, too.

Well-balanced between learning German and having fun, as well as well-structured and organised, this camp seems to have a winning formula for active teenagers who enjoy making friends from all over the world.

German courses

Even if there's lots to do, and you're there to have fun, you can't forget that you're also there to improve your German. As with many other camps there are 4x45 minute lessons each day Monday-Friday in the mornings. Lead by experienced, qualified language teachers who know how to make lessons fun (hopefully a bit different from school) you'll do both some revision of your year's work as well as extend your knowledge of grammar and vocabulary - oral production is equally important. The language of the camp is German, so there are ample opportunities to continue using what you've learned outside the lessons.

During your stay at the camp excursion to Munich and around Spitzingsee are planned. Each week there's one day-long excursion and another half-day trip giving you a chance to get out and see something entirely different.

If we have said enough already ... two activities are planned for each day: hiking, camp fires, swimming, building rafts, stand-up paddle board, volleyball etc etc - weather dependent! Don't forget that these kind of activities and games are also the time to practice using German.
