Country

Do you know how much robotics touches our everyday lives? Cars, vacuum cleaners, gaming consoles, smartphones... The future is here. But you knew that already.
If you or your child is interested in robotics in particular and STEAM in general - and you'd like them to get some experience in English in the USA, then this course is for you! Work on your robot daily and increase your robotics knowledge and skills with one workshop per week at MIT.
This programme is for everyone who is interested in Robotics from beginners to Advanced. So if you've nothing done before or started programming a Sphero or an Ozo-bot or used Scratch, Blocky or maybe even some Python or Javascript you'll be fine here.

The programme takes place at Curry College in the Boston area.

Courses

Here there are NO English courses - so you have to be ok at English to start with (pre-intermediate and more) but you will do courses in robotiques, science and maths (as related to robotics - nothing to be scared of!).

This programme allows you to develop your English skills naturally while focussing on what turns you on. You'll also develop your problem-solving, team-working and communication skills. Apart from working on Robotics you'll also learn how to set goals and deliver a project on time. All essential skills for your future.!

Activities & excursions

It's not all study and work - you're not the robot! Activities, sports, games and general amusement is part of the on campus programme.
You'll also have one full day (on the weekend normally) and two half-day excursions each week to get you out and about and discover both the city and the region.
Walking around Boston, discovering some of the shops in Newbury Street, the Freedom Trail or Quincy Market...
You'll even have the chance to visit Harvard University - and give yourself a goal to go back to!
