Country

If England feels to far away or time is of the essence, then this English summer camp in Yverdon is a great choice. This beautiful and historic town next to Lake Neuchâtel is the ideal place for students to get more intensive English practice. Ten minutes from the centre of town and with its excellent facilities for all sporting activities available, the program is a great first step for younger learners.
 

The camp/program is for 10-16 years olds and offers 20 lessons/week of English lessons plus activities both sporty and artistic, with good accommodation and excellent supervision.

*There will also be children learning French or German at this camp.

English Courses

All students have their English level tested when they arrive in order to be placed in the appropriate class. The English courses, given by qualified teachers, Monday to Friday. They'll cover the important skills bases, reading, writing, listening and speaking, underpinned by grammar and pronunciation work.

Excursions

A full day excursion and another half-day excursion is planned each week and included in the price. Generally this will involve, for example, cultural visits in the region, lake swims and visits to other nearby towns.

Activities

There's lots of afternoon activities included in the programme to keep everyone motivated and happy : football, ping-pong, volleyball, badminton, swimming, age-appropriate games are some examples.

Options

This is where the fun starts. Students reserve a supplementary option for the afternoons: tennis, horse-riding, fun, sailing

Arrivals & Departures

Arrive Sunday and leave Saturday - during the indicated time windows. As most of our clients attending this camp are from the region and drive their kids to the centre, we'll just need to know your approximate arrival time.
