Find another programme

Hosted by one of the UK's leading independent Sixth Form Colleges this is an inspirational programme to challenge and develop ambitious business students, who improve their CVs as well as their chances of being accepted to an excellent university.

Specifically, this course is ideal for students who aim to study business subjects like, finance, accounting, economics, management, marketing etc., either for their Swiss "maturité", baccalauréat, IB or at university.
In a pleasant and friendly environment, experienced staff deliver courses in English on business administration and management, introducing all the essentials.  You'll study mainly in the mornings and in the afternoons and evenings a range of activities and excursions are offered to ensure the programme is well-balanced.

The school is only an hour from London meaning access to and from the capital is easy. Trips to the heart of London (Wednesday) are done by high-speed train, the station is just down the road - avoiding all those London traffic hassles.

Because this is a year-round school, the facilities available are excellent. The accommodation is top notch, meals are prepared in house and taken on the campus. If ever you wanted to experience life and an excellent English private school, then this is your chance.
To be accepted on this programme you must pass the English requirement (B2) before arriving. (*If you are worried about your English you can always take a two week English course before this programme at the same school.)

The 22 hours of courses each week are provided by motivated, qualified and experienced teachers. The maximum number of participants in each class is 12.
Modules include:

  • Introduction to Management
  • Accounting
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Organisations
  • Marketing

Courses are given in English. If you are looking for an intensive and comprehensive introduction to business for your CV or university application, then this is your course. At the end of the programme a participation certificate is awarded.

There are a few cool optional extras you can add either to your English courses or as activities:

  • One-to-one English lessons (4 hours/week)
  • Golf lessons (4 hours/week)
  • Horse-riding (4 hours/week)
  • Paintball (1 session)

PLUS: A London musical (e.g. The Lion King), Warner Bros Harry Potter Studios trip, The London Experience weekend - just ask us about these and how to book

The Mini-MBA students will join with the other students at Earlscliffe (those studying English-only) for a full programme of excursions and activities. Mini MBA students will also benefit from 2 special visits exclusively for them during the London trip, visiting the Bank of England and heading to the top of "The Shard" (currently) Europe's tallest building. Each week 2 full day excursions are planned (Wednesdays and Sundays usually). All day trips are supervised and all include some free time for older students. Typical destinations include destinations :

  • The Tate Modern
  • Chelsea Football Club
  • The London Eye
  • Canterbury
  • Leeds Castle
  • Thorpe theme park
